MiCaso is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by USCIS, DHS, or the United States government. MiCaso does not provide legal advice or guarantee immigration results. Official immigration information should be verified directly with USCIS or a qualified legal professional. Case status information displayed by MiCaso comes from USCIS when available.

Information we collect

  • Contact information such as name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and communication preferences.
  • USCIS receipt numbers entered by users to request case status information through MiCaso.
  • User account information, if account features are available or used, including email address, name, login-related data, and account preferences.
  • Information you submit through contact forms, appointment requests, support requests, WhatsApp links, social media messages, intake forms, or similar communication channels.
  • Documents or files you choose to provide for requested services, which may include immigration records, identity information, tax-related information, income information, legal documents, certificates, business records, or other supporting documentation.
  • Technical logs such as request time, request ID, browser or device data, IP-related technical data, pages visited, referring pages, usage analytics, and error logs.
  • Payment, billing, or transaction-related information if paid services are offered through a third-party payment provider.

How we use information

USCIS Case Status API

When a user enters a USCIS receipt number, the receipt number may be sent from the MiCaso backend to the USCIS Case Status API to retrieve case status information. MiCaso uses USCIS API data only to retrieve and display case status information. USCIS credentials and access tokens are never exposed to the browser. USCIS communication is handled from the backend using server-side environment variables and server-side controls.

Professional service information

If you request immigration, legal support, tax, document preparation, translation, business registration, civil wedding, divorce-related, or other professional services from Alaska Solutions Associates LLC, we may collect and use the information and documents you voluntarily provide to evaluate your request, communicate with you, prepare documents, schedule appointments, provide support, or deliver the services you requested. Information submitted for professional services may be sensitive. Please do not submit information unless you are comfortable providing it for the requested service. MiCaso itself remains an informational case status companion and does not provide legal advice.

SMS, WhatsApp, and mobile communications

If you provide a phone number, contact us by WhatsApp, request an appointment, submit a form, or opt in to mobile communications, we may use your phone number to respond to you, send service-related messages, appointment reminders, case-related communications, or other messages you requested or consented to receive. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP where that option is available, or by contacting us. Mobile opt-in information and text messaging consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Data sharing

MiCaso uses backend-only USCIS communication, server-side environment variables for USCIS credentials, and server-side controls so USCIS credentials and access tokens are never exposed to the browser. We also use reasonable administrative, technical, physical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction. No website, application, email system, mobile channel, or internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, and disclosure.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide requested services, operate MiCaso and our websites, maintain service operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, debug issues, prevent abuse, and support security. Technical logs may be retained for operational and security purposes. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, de-identify, or archive it according to our business, legal, operational, and security needs.

User choices

Users may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or updates to information where applicable. Users may also opt out of certain non-essential communications. Some information may be retained when needed for legal, operational, security, backup, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
